<p>Slaughter pistol has a spike which moves forwards in a guide barrel on firing a cartridge in an explosion chamber having a breech block which is movable to open and close the chamber. The breech block carries a firing pin and a spring loaded striker element which is engaged and released by a mechanism. A device advances the cartridge feeder one step simultaneously with the movement of the breech block in order to set the striker element and load the cartridge in a single operation after firing the pistol. - Pref. cartridge feeder operates against a fixed cam on movement of the breech block by a toggle mechanism.</p> |
