A given quantity of liquid is dosed by drawing this liquid up by aspiration from a container by means of a dosing syringe 26. The delivery of the dose controlled by the syringe allows it to be distributed through an appropriate nozzle. In order to facilitate cleaning of the circuit, the front section 34b of the piston of the syringe slides without a seal in the cylinder 32. The resulting leakage is removed by a drainage circuit 60, 54, 64. A retractable stop 66 allows the front section 34b of the piston to be shifted into an intermediate chamber 54, thereby permitting efficient cleaning of the circuit.
