PURPOSE:To detect surely the crack of a tile by disposing electrodes on the front and rear surfaces of the tile, impressing a high voltage to the electrodes and sensing the generated electric discharge. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes 2, 3 are disposed on the front and rear surfaces of the substantially plate-shaped insulating ceramic product such as the tile 10 imposed in an imposing means 1 which is movable in the horizontal direction. The high voltage is impressed to the electrodes 2, 3 and the discharge generated through the crack of the tile 10 is sensed by a discharge sensing means 4, by which the crack of the tile 10, etc. is surely detected. |
