A device for securing the ladder tapes or cords to the tilt rod of a Venetian blind comprises an inverted U-shaped frame 1 with end transverse members 5 which have recesses 6 for mounting non-rotatably on the tilt rod, the upper wall 2 of the frame being provided with only two tongues 7 and 8, stamped from the wall 2 and each extending over almost the entire length of said wall, the tongues being inserted through loops on the ends of the tapes or cords, and in the case of cords recesses 12 are provided to retain the cords from lateral movement. The tongues are strengthened by ribs 10, 11 and lips 9 are bent up from the upper wall 2 near the free ends of the tongues to prevent lateral movement and deformation of the tongues under the weight of the blind. |
