The infusion device has an inversely pot-shaped connecting piece (2) which is connected to the infusion container via an inlet opening (19), a basic body (12) rotatably connected to the connecting piece, and an intermediate member (22) arranged between these so as to be rotatable relative to one of the two elements and having a control opening (34). An elastic membrane (28) held by the intermediate member delimits a first chamber (30) having the inlet opening (19) with its top side and a second chamber (32) having the control opening (34) with its underside. It controls the flow rate by approaching or receding from the control opening (34) when there are pressure differences between the two chambers (30, 32). The two chambers (30, 32) are connected to one another by a connecting channel (36) and a line (43) of relatively little flow resistance and an arch-shaped groove (42) of relatively high flow resistance. The length of the liquid-carrying arched section of the groove (42) and hence its flow resistance determining the pressure difference and the delivery speed can be adjusted by turning the connecting piece (2) relative to the basic body (12). The device achieves a constant, accurately adjustable drip rate. <IMAGE>
