<p>In this apparatus, a wire electrode is drawn from a wire electrode supply reel; passed through a predetermined passage to be once guided to the portion of a workpiece which is to be processed; used to process this portion of the workpiece, reversed to move along the passage through which the wire electrode was guided to the workpiece; guided again to the same portion of the workpiece; and used again to process the same workpiece. These two parts of the wire electrode are moved zigzag along a processing contour during the cutting of the workpiece. This enables the processing clearance to be widened, and the processing efficiency and accuracy to be improved.</p> |
