PURPOSE:To convey the driver's intent to a succeeding car by displaying the message content stored in a ROM on a display via an operation of a select switch. CONSTITUTION:A thin type display device 1 is fitted to the rear of a vehicle, and an operation panel 2 having multiple switches 3 picking up data from a display content memory circuit ROM8 is provided at a driver seat. The output of the operation panel feeds the message content from a CPU6 through a display control circuit including a display drive circuit 6 for display on the display device 1. Accordingly, the driver's intent not conveyable by a winker or the like can be conveyed quickly and correctly.
