An electrical appliance which uses heated air to dry wet human feet after baths and thus prevents illnesses, such as colds and fungal diseases, and which additionally is of great assistance to disabled people, e.g. overweight people and rheumatic and arthritic people with restricted functioning of the joints. The electrical appliance is characterised in that an electric current is switched on by means of a pressure switch after loading by the human body, which current heats metal elements and switches on an electric fan. The heated air is blown onto the front of the feet. The appliance is switched off automatically when the tread plate is no longer loaded.
