PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable analyzer, by judging abnormality of an equipment detecting current between a detection electrode and a reference electrode to issue an alarm. CONSTITUTION:When electromagnetic valves 11 and 12 are closed while those 13 and 14 are opened, a liquid feed pump 10 is operated. The liquid feed pump 10 is stopped and with the electromagnetic valves 11-14 closed, a base liquid is suspended in a measuring chamber 3 to measure the potential with respect to the base liquid. Current for detection 2 and current flowing silver and silver chloride lines 5 during the measurement of potential is detected as potential difference between both ends of a reference resistance 26 and then, found with a detector 23 through leads 31 and 32, an amplifier 21 and a lead 33 to select the abnormal range of current value. Here, when abnormality is discovered, a signal is sent to a controller 25 through a lead 34. Receiving the abnormality signal, the controller 25 deploys alarming against the abnormal analyzed value (for example, insertion of code in a digital recording type), inflow of the base liquid, interrupt of a temporary sequence for cleaning and the like and proceeds to stop the analyzing operation when the abnormality signal continues though. |
