The timber handling unit, for towing by a tractor, consists of a chassis (1) with two driven wheels (2). This is surmounted by a portal frame and a short-armed crane (4) with its lifting cable passing over a pulley (5) and attached to a winch (6). - The winch is driven from the tractor PTO shaft via a reduction gear and speed selector. The rear of the chassis has a shield and quick-release attachment.
