<p>PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce transport resistance of a sheet by largely shifting the bending center of an outer paper guide member of a paper guide portion in a copying machine or the like to the transport direction side of the paper more than the bending center of an inner paper guide member. CONSTITUTION:A paper guide 10 comprises an inner paper guide member 12 and an outer guide member 14, wherein when the bending center of a bending portion of the guide member 12 is O1, the radius of curvature thereof is R1, the bending center of a bending portion of the guide member 14 is O2, the radius of curvature thereof is R2, and the distance between the bending centers of both bending portions is l, the bending center O2 of the guide member 14 is shifted to transport direction side of the paper more than the bending center O1 of the guide member 12 is such a manner as to have the following relationship: l>=R2. Accordingly, the distance between both guides 12, 14 can be enlarged to remarkably reduce the transport resistance of a sheet in the bending portion. Sheets 5 are stacked in a cassette tray 4, and only the uppermost sheet is fed out by one sheet contact feed roller 6 and passed through the interior of the paper guide 10 to be transported by a pair of rollers 9.</p> |
