<p>PURPOSE:To execute the initializing of a memory within a short period and to reduce the load of a microprocessor by forming an initializing circuit for writing a prescribed data pattern in the memory under the separated state from the microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:When a mode switching control circuit 11 receives a trigger signal (initializing start signal) from the microprocessor 1 or the external, the initializing circuit 10 initializes respective memories in memory blocks 5a-5k while generating addresses and data patterns automatically under the separated state from the microprocessor 1. Thereby, it is unnecessary for the microprocessor 1 to initialize the memories on the basis of software. Consequently, the load of the processor 1 is reduced and the processor 1 can transfer to another processing during the initialization of the memories by the circuit 10.</p> |
