PURPOSE:To control a circulating current inside an iron core for a transformer having a large current coil and to form a transformer iron core without any fear of increasing a loss and heating the iron core by providing a closed loop plate of good conductive material on surfaces in the front and the rear of the iron core after surrounding an iron core window. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux penetrating through a window of an iron core 3 penetrates a closed loop plate 4a provided on a surface of the iron core 3, and generates a circulating current inside the iron core 3 and the closed loop plate 4a. But, as the closed loop plate 4a is composed of good conductive material, an impedance of a loop is lower than that of a loop formed by the iron core 3. Therefore, most of the circulating current can be flown to this closed loop plate 4a, and for that reason the circulating current inside the iron core is controlled. Consequently, a transformer of low loss and high reliability which controls an iron core temperature and a loss increase caused by the circulating current inside the iron core worried about an transformer having a coil of large current can be formed. |
