The invention relates to an element for anchoring wall parts, which can be connected thereto and consist of deformable flat material or solid material, in the undercut longitudinal groove, having an opening slot, of a receiving part, into which groove the element can be introduced. The thickness of the element according to the main patent (Patent Application P 3439921.6-25) is of smaller dimensions than the width of the opening slot of the longitudinal groove, such that the element can be inserted through the opening slot into the interior of the longitudinal groove and, after having been pushed into the longitudinal groove, its contours change to such an extent that pulling the element out of the longitudinal groove in a direction transverse to the longitudinal extent of said groove is reliably prevented. In a further development of the subject matter of the main patent, the invention proposes that the element contain a head part (1), designed as a deformable hollow body with a rhombic outer contour, and a tail part (2) connected thereto. The head part is provided on the inside with a tongue (5) which terminates in a lance-shaped widening (6) and extends from the front side (1') of the head part rearwards into the region of its tail-part-side walls (3, 4) running at an angle with respect to each other. The invention further proposes that the tail-part-side walls of the head part have, on their inner surface, a saw-tooth-like, inwardly directed elevation (7) which, in the pushed-in position of the element, ... the undercuts (6') of the widening (6) ...
