PURPOSE:To prevent hot offset on a heat roll by dispersing a colorant into a binder resin obtained by mixing polyester having specified characteristic with a vinyl type polymer having specified characteristics in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin is prepared by mixing the polyester resin having a weight average mol.wt. of 8,000-16,000 and a glass transition point of 55-65 deg.C, with the vinyl type polymer having a weight average mol.wt. of 200,000-500,000, and a glass transition point of 50-65 deg.C in a polyester/vinyl weight ratio of (25-35)/100 in the mixture. An electrophotographic toner compsn. is obtained by mixing 1-20pts.wt. of a colorant, such as carbon black, nitrosine dye, aniline blue, or phthalocyanine blue, with 100pts.wt. of this binder resin. |
