PURPOSE:To facilitate regulation of adaptability of an air-fuel ratio to an engine, by a method wherein, when, based on an output from an exhaust gas sensor, addition and deduction are effected, a feedback constant is decided, and feedback control is made on an air-fuel ratio, the constant is changed at intervals of a given time. CONSTITUTION:An output QA from a sucked air amount sensor 12 and an output N from a rotation speed detecting sensor 14 are input to a micro processor 18 to compute a load Tp. An output K from a lambda sensor 16, detecting the state of oxygen concentration in exhaust gas, is input to the micro processor 18 to compute a feedback constant M. Based on a fuel injection amount ti from the micro processor 18, fuel is fed from an injection valve 20. In which case the constant M is fetched from a RAM and after DELTAP is added thereto, the result is set in the RAM again. The value of DELTAP is a value being determined by matching it with an engine, and has a positive or a negative value. This causes the constant M to be increased by DELTAP at each specified period.
