PURPOSE:To enable effective utilization of the battery capacity while minimizing a user's burden in the battery exchange, by indicating the battery life when a drop in the voltage for a time piece circuit while the battery for additional function is switched and connected to the time piece circuit to indicate the battery life when a drop in the voltage for additional function. CONSTITUTION:For example, when output voltage Vss1 from a battery B1, for instance, drops with a timepiece function in operation, the detection signal PK1 from a voltage detection circuit moves to the H level and the PK2 does to the L level with the life of the battery B1 shown on a display 7 while a switching transistor Tr1 is turned OFF and the Tr2 turned ON. The voltage Vss3 fed to a regulator circuit 14 of a timepiece circuit 1 is provided by the supply of the output voltage Vss2 from a battery B2. As the output voltage Vss1 of the battery B1 is sufficiently high, when the output voltage Vss2 of the battery B2 lowers, the detection signal PK2 outputted from a voltage detection circuit 13 goes to the H level with the lift of the battery B2 shown on the display 7. |
