PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of an inner plate in a vehicle body rear side part by providing an extension pillar inner panel which is supported through connection to a body side member and the inner plate member. CONSTITUTION:A body side member 32 of a letter U-shaped section with flanges 32a on both side edges is joined to the rear side upper edge part of a rear pillar inner panel 22. This forms a closed section part 33 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body between the body side member 32 and the rear pillar inner panel 22. The upper end part of an extension pillar inner panel 34 is fixed to the rear side part of the body side member 32. |
