By modification and combination of known processes it is now possible to produce for example dessert powder mixtures of a novel type. These novel mixtures provide the user with advantages not hitherto possible. Thus, for example, the hot and cold dispersibility have been considerably improved. In addition, it is possible to produce by this process reduced-sugar or sugar-free instant products, during the use of which the determination of the degree of sweetness is left to the consumer.
