Radial blower unit for kitchen extractor hoods for exhaust-air of circulating-air operation, comprising a spiral casing (1') for accommodating a radial-blower impeller (2) with recurved vanes, with an upper and rear exhaust-air port (3, 4) and a front port (5) for circulating-air operation and a flow divider (6). The baffle plate tip (7) of the flow divider (6) is set back by about 90 DEG of angle with respect to the exhaust-air ports (3, 4). The baffle plate tip (7) defines the start of the arithmetic course of the spiral casing (1') about a casing point (10). <IMAGE>
