PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of an electric field detection voltage and the temperature characteristic by constituting the titled circuit with n-stage of differential amplifiers connected in cascade, n-set of square circuits, an adder and a rectifying capacitor. CONSTITUTION:An output of the 1st stage amplifier A1 is inputted to the 1st stage square circuit B1. The circuit B1 consists of an emitter follower pair, the 1st-3rd differential amplifiers and a current mirror circuit. The constitution of the 2nd and succeeding stages is similar. An output signal nu10 (nu10=V10cosomegat) of the amplifier A1 is inputted to the circuit B1, from which a current J10 is outputted to the adder 4. The square characteristic is obtained in the circuit B1 with VTV10 (VT=kT/q). The characteristic of the next and succeeding stages is similar. The AC component is eliminated from the output of the adder 4 by the capacitor Crec. In adding the positive- phase-sequence outputs of the square circuits of the multi-stage in this way, the input electric field level is detected by a mean output current of the output of the adder 4. In this case, since the phase of the output of each rectifier is matched, one rectifier capacitor is enough. The temperature is constituted easily by constituting the circuit by the differential pair.
