PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation of a DC/DC converter by dividing the DC input of the converter, and utilizing energy stored in a capacitor as the starting energy of an auxiliary power source circuit for a controller of the converter, thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION:When a DC input is applied to an auxiliary power source circuit, a trigger energy for starting the power source circuit is stored in a capacitor 9 to start the power source, and an output voltage is supplied to the controller of a DC/DC converter. If the converter starts once operating, the energy for operating the power source and hence the controller is produced from the converter. Since the capacitor 9 can merely store the trigger energy, it may have a small capacity, and since the voltage of the capacitor 9 is not so large, the power source can be inexpensively performed with less power loss. |
