<p>PURPOSE:To save the expenses of an operation by providing stators of a linear motor on an ascent gradient and a top horizontal flat portion of rails laid on a route which continues descent and ascent gradients and a horizontal flat portion, and providing the movable element of the motor at the lower side of a truck. CONSTITUTION:Rails (not shown) are laid on a route which continues ascent or descent gradient 12, 14 and horizontal flat portions 11, 13, 15. Rail side stators 16, 17 and 18, 19 of a linear motor car are provided at the portions near the portions 11, 15 of the tops and the tops of the gradients 12, 14. A movable element of a linear motor is mounted at the lower side of a truck 25. When the truck 25 is started in the direction of an arrow A, it is driven at the stators 16, 17, and then advanced by coasting, raised by the stator 18 on the gradient 14, braked by the stator 19, and stopped. Thus, the truck 25 can be moved with less energy and simple facility. This is adapted for an article conveying under a river, a railway and a road.</p> |
