The invention relates to cyclohexenone derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> in which A represents oxygen, sulphur, a sulphinyl or sulphonyl group, an alkylamino group or an alkylene chain, B represents an alkylene chain, an alkenylene chain, an alkanediylidene chain or an alkenediylidene chain, n represents 0 or 1, R<1> represents hydrogen or methoxycarbonyl, R<2> represents alkyl, R<3> represents alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl or propargyl and R<4> and R<5> independently of one another represent hydrogen, alkyl or phenyl, and salts of these compounds, processes for the preparation of these compounds, and their use for controlling undesired plant growth.
