PURPOSE:To vent hydrogen gas without sacrifice of water proof ability by rotationally mounting a plug for charging in a housing in which a secondary battery is accommodated and installing a gas vent which is opened or closed by rotation of the plug. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 of electric shaver into which a motor 2 and a secondary battery 3 are accommodated is formed cylindrically. A plug 10 for charging is mounted in a recess 9 formed in a back and lower part of the hausing 1. The plug 10 has protruded shafts 11, 11 at its both ends and a circular cross section, and a pair of terminal pins 12, 12 are protruded from its circumference. The plug 10 rotates freely between the housing and a cover which is fixed to the housing with a screw. A gas vent 18 is formed in the wall, faced to the circumference of the plug 10, of the recess 9 and a through hole 14 is formed in a vertical direction of the plug 10. The vent 18 is closed with the plug to prevent the enter of water, but hydrogen gas evolved from the battery 13 by charging can be vented through the vent 18 and the hole 14. |
