PURPOSE:An adhesive having excellent water retention but no fluidity and being prevented from drying and solidifying during use, which is prepd. by compounding an aq. synthetic resin soln. with a highly water absorbing resin. CONSTITUTION:An aq. soln. of a synthetic resin such as partially acetalized PVC is compounded with 7-15pts.wt. highly water absorbing resin such as starch acrylate or a (meth)acrylate graft polymer.
