PURPOSE:To simplify the manipulation of an insulation plate so as to improve the mass productivity of a cell, by fixing, as an unit, an insulation plate for bottom between the inside surface of the bottom of the can and spiral electrode body of a cell to the lower portion of a band electrode not yet wound. CONSTITUTION:At the central part of a positive electrode plate 2, an area of the core body is exposed by vertically peeling off the active material, and a lead member 2a of the positive electrode is welded on the exposed area. Then, adhesive insulation tape 10 is affixed so as to cover the member 2a, and on the tape 10 the bottom insulation plate of a can 6 is affixed, and the insulation plate 6 is fixed on the positive electrode 2 so as to make an unit. At this time, the member 2a is arranged to be faced to the central through hole 7 on the insulation plate 6. Then a separator and a negative electrode plate are attached on the positive electrode plate 2, and after a spiral electrode body 5 is formed by winding, the insulation plate 6 is bended inward so as to cover the lower end surface of the electrode body 5. By this, the manipulation of the thin insulation plate 6 is simplified, and the mass production can be improved. |
