PURPOSE:To facilitate to fix a prism to obtain a rare gas laser tube which is resistant to vibration and shock by a method wherein a prism holder holding the prism for wavelength selection and a resonator mirror are fixed to a mirror holder by using low m.p. glass. CONSTITUTION:A prism holder 2 holding a prism 1 is fixed to a mirror holder 3 by using low m.p. glass. Since the prism 1 is inserted comparatively simply and enough firmly to the prism holder 2 and can be put into the mirror holder 3, the prism 1 is not deflected even if shock and vibration are added to a laser oscillator at the time that the laser tube produced in such a manner. Thereby, the laser oscillator, whose laser output change is small, can be obtained. |
