PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for moving a work of large weight for its machining feed, by actuating an electrode tensely bridging device to machine the work being left as fixed into a desired contour shape. CONSTITUTION:An electrode tensely bridging device 2, if it rotates a motor 208 and the first external threaded member 209, moves the first rod 201 along the direction of an X-axis. While the device, if it rotates a motor 214 and the second external threaded member 215, moves the second rod 206 along the direction of a Y-axis. The upper side supporting position of a wire electrode 3 in its machining portion can be moved to a desired position in an X-Y plane by suitably driving the motor 208 and 214. Here simultaneously, an electrode tensely bridging device 2' in an accepting side of the wire electrode synchronously rotates a motor 208' and 214' respectively with the motor 208 and 214. |
