PURPOSE:To improve the surface adhesiveness of a polypropylene film, such as adhesiveness to printing ink and the deposition of evaporated metal, by placing the film in an atmosphere at a specified temperature or higher and surface-treating it by corona discharge. CONSTITUTION:The surface adhesiveness of a polypropylene film is improved by placing the film in a gas atmosphere (e.g., nitrogen gas or air) at a temperature >=60 deg.C and surface-treating it by corona discharge. In this way, it is possible to improve the adhesion of surface coating agents such as an antistatic agent and a slip imparting agent, as well as adhesion of printing ink and deposition of evaporated metal such as aluminum. The corona discharge treatment of the film, preceded by the preheating, can bring about a more marked effect of treatment. |
