PURPOSE:The titled breaker that has such a mechanism where the part to be broken of a work is set to the breaking position and broken by pressing the part with the work receiver and the work-pressing actuator, thus enabling any works with an arbitrary shape to be set to with ease. CONSTITUTION:After the breaking line B is scribed on the periphery of a work W such as a glassware, the work is sucked with the chuck 10 and the part to be broken of the work W is set to the breaking position by slide 12. Then, the work-pressing actuator 15 is allowed to come down and press down the work W together with the chuck 10 so that the work is fixed on the edge 14a of the work receiver 14. Then, the break actuator comes down to break the peripheral part of the work W along the break line B.
