BRAZING CONNECTION METHOD OF METALLIC TUBULAR MATERIAL AND HEATER TO BE USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To obtain the connection part of metallic pipe of high reliability with simple method by forming an exothermic agent with setting to the shape of the connection part of a tubular material and by fitting to the connection part with the state of setting up the brazing material to the inner part of the exothermic agent and by burning it with igniting. CONSTITUTION:A heater 1 is formed by solidifying with forming in cylindrical shape the self-exothermic agent having a thermit reaction function and the inner diameter of cavity parts 3, 4 is set to the outer diameter of tubular materials 6, 7 and joint 8. The brazing material 5 of semiannular shape is fixed on the step part 2 of the heater 1 and the end part of the joint 8 being fitted to the tubular materials 6, 7 to be connected is positioned so as to about the brazing material 5. The brazing is performed by melting the brazing material 5 with igniting the heater 1 and by pouring it into the gap of the overlapped part of the tubular materials 6, 7 and joint 8. The metallic pipe connection part of high reliability is thus obtd. with a simple method.
