摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a hydrogen-producing unit and to improve the purity of the product and the basic charging rate of the raw material, by producing crude hydrogen gas by reformation, washing the cooled hydrogen gas with water and using the condensed water generated by cooling and the scrubbing water as raw water for the reforming reaction. CONSTITUTION:Methanol 1 is mixed with water, heated to the reaction temperature in the heater 4 with a thermal medium heated with a preheater 3 and a thermal medium heater 6, and the vaporized and superheated mixture is introduced into the reactor 5. The steam-reforming of methanol is carried out in the reactor, and the reformed crude hydrogen gas is subjected to the heat-exchange with the raw material in the preheater 3, cooled with the cooler 7, and passed through the water-scrubbing column 8. The condensed water generated by cooling is separated in the column, and at the same time, pure water is introduced into the column from the column top to effect the absorption and recovery of a small amount of unreacted methanol remaining in the mixture. The crude hydrogen gas is purified to about >=99.999% purity in the PSA hydrogen refining unit 9 by adsorbing and removing CO2 and CO. The condensed water and scrubbing water are used as a raw water, added to the raw methanol 1, and utilized in the methanol reforming reaction.
