The cutting and winding device for metal webs (20) comprises a cutting component having a downstream guiding device consisting of guiding parts which are arranged one above the other and extend in a converging manner and provided with a contact roller (28). The metal web (20) is conducted via the guiding device to a roller (74) which possesses a slot opening (104) and winds up the metal web (20).
