The subject matter of the invention is the racemate as well as the (R)- and (S)-forms of 2-deoxy-4-O-phosphoryl-2-[(3 min -O-tetradecanoyl)-tetradecanoylamino]-3-O-tetradecanoyl-D-glucose and their preparation process from known starting compounds. The compounds of the invention exhibit various interesting biological and immunological activities of natural lipid A.
