PURPOSE:To prevent vibration of a cylinder and improve its work speed, by fitting a distribution pipe of pressure fluid, so that it may not rotate but longitudinally move with a rod, into the rod and supplying the pressure fluid to and discharging it from the cylinder while eliminating series arrangement of a rotary coupling so as to enable a protrusive part to be decreased. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder, fitting a distribution pipe 1 to a hollow part 7d of a rod 7, holds through a bearing 14 the distribution pipe 1 not rotatably but longitudinally movably with the rod 7. And the cylinder, mounting at least the one bearing 14 holding the distribution pipe 1 so as to be positioned always in a cylinder main unit 6 in no relation to operation and inoperation of the cylinder, decreases a length of the whole device as small as possible. In this way, the device, longitudinally moving by the action of a piston 9 all the parts, except a casing 6b, of the cylinder main unit 6 while rotating not the distribu tion pipe 1 and a drain reservoir 21 but the rod 7 also with a rotation of the cylinder main unit 6, supplies and discharges pressure fluid with no trouble not influencing its flow path system. |
