PURPOSE:To prevent charging of an element by static electricity and to prevent deterioration in the operation of the element, by providing a light transmitting conducting film on a semiconductor device having the optical element. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitting conducting film 14 is provided on an element. When this element is mounted in a package, charge on the element, which is induced by static electricity and the like, can not be localized and is dispersed within the conducting film 14. An electric to the surface of an Si substrate due to the dispersed charge becomes extremely small, and no effect is imparted. Therefore, the operation of the element is not deteriorated. |
