PURPOSE:To efficiently recover the heat from gas such as coke oven gas by glazing the outside of multiple heat-transfor pipes that cross the passage of gas containing viscous substances such as tar. CONSTITUTION:By arranging multiple heat-transfer pipes 21 to perpendicularly cross the flow passage 17 of coke oven gas 14, the contact area with the coke oven gas 14 can be made larger, and the heat-transfer pipes 21 are made of ceramics or metal, resulting in a high heat transfer rate. Moreover, since the thermal medium flows inside the heat-transfer pipes 21, the direct heating through the wall of the heat-transfer pipes 21 can take place. Therefore, compared to the prior heat recovery system of this kind, a very high heat recovery efficiency is realized. Since the outer surface of the heat-transfer pipes 21 is applied with glaze 27, the outer surface becomes smooth, resulting in less accumulating of tar etc., and if it accmulates, it can easily by removed. Therefore, the reduction of heat transfer rate or the clogging of the passage 17 due to the accumulation of tar, etc. can be prevented. |
