A wheel clamping device comprising a frame and three moving arms that meet substantially at a common centre; two of said arms being actuated by rack and pinion motion to move chocks chordwise of a wheel up-against or away from a wheel periphery and the third arm having a hook to place over the top of the wheel. Ideally the racks are moved from a single key.
