PURPOSE:To make the intermediate part of a gimbals spring hard to oscillate and to prevent a magnetic head from oscillating and resonating by providing bent parts to the intermediate part. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head 1 is adhered to and held on the center part 2 of the gimbals spring 10 and connected to the intermediate part 3 through bridges 11a and 11b which form the 1st bridge, and this intermediate part 3 is connected to a peripheral part 4 through bridges 5a and 5b which forms the 2nd bridge. The intermediate part 3 is provided with bent parts 6a-6d, which are bent almost at 90 deg. to increase the bending rigidity of the intermediate part 3. Consequently, oscillation becomes hard to occur and the natural oscillation frequency of the intermediate part 3 is varied to make resonance hard to occur.
