PURPOSE:To make delicate response supervision possible and to improve the processing capacity of the entire system, by performing dynamic setting and automatic setting for the response supervising time to each of plural control devices connected with a main control device. CONSTITUTION:After a counter 5 for supervising time-out is set at an initial value produced by means of a conversion circuit 3, the counter 5 starts counting operations in accordance with the designation of a control circuit 4. When the operation of a control device is terminated within a specified time, a device access normally ending signal from a control device 1 is inputted to the control circuit 4 and the count value of the counter 5 is reset. When the operation of the control device does not terminate within the specified time, the counter 5 outputs a time-out signal and resets the counter value and a main control device supervises the response of the control device in accordance with the presence/absence of the time-out signal.
