PURPOSE:To easily detect whether a microinstruction is passed through a specific microinstruction sequence of not, by continuously making access for coincidence detection of microinstruction addresses to plural addresses. CONSTITUTION:The data processor of this invention is of a microprogram controlling system and constituted by using an address register 1, register file 5, comparison means 4, control means, initializing means, and sequence identify ing means 13. Whether or not microinstructions are executed through a specific microinstruction sequence is detected by the coincidence detecting method of microinstruction addresses and comparison reference addresses are automatically supplied, so that passes can be checked with no omission even for a microinstruction sequence containing various combinations.
