PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of providing a paper feed mechanism by controlling through the type selection operation of a type selection mechanism driven by a one-direction rotating motor and the printing and line feed operation of a printing/line feed mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A driving force of a DC motor 4 is transmitted to a main gear 8, and then to a drive-side pulley 1 through a spring clutch. A printing and line feed gear 9 is intermeshed with the main gear 8 and is actuated by an electromagnetic solenoid 18 through a selection lever 17. Paper 16 is fed from under a paper feed roller 14 and a guide plate 15 and guided to a spot near the outside of a type belt 3. Paper feed is set by the type selection operation and paper feed is reset by the printing and line feed operation, thus feeding paper by repeating only type selection operation. |
