PURPOSE:To obtain an absorbing device formed in a small size by simplified construction further enabled to absorb impact torque, by arranging an elastic material, providing in its both ends an adapter metal, in a cocoon-shaped annular groove provided in an opposed surface of a disc. CONSTITUTION:A disc 1, 2 is mounted to a driving shaft and a driven shaft, and the disc 1, 2 provides in its opposed surface one or two or more symmetrical cocoon-shaped annular grooves 3, 4. And this cocoon-shaped annular groove 3, 4 houses an elastic material 7 providing in its both ends an adapter metal 5, 6. Said elastic material 7 uses a spring or a synthetic resin material. An absorbing device, transmitting a turning effect of the disc 1 in a side of the driving shaft to the disc 2 in a side of the driven shaft through the adapter metal 5, spring 7 in the cocoon-shaped annular groove 3, 4 and the adapter metal 6, absorbs impact torque while the spring 7 is compressed. |
