CONSTITUTION:A coating gun reciprocated by a reciprocator 1 is oscillated by switching an actuator 10 with valve mechanisms 12 and 13 for oscillation through a controller 18 by the operation of changeover switches 27, 28, 29, and 30 in the reciprocating coating apparatus. At this time, a valve mechanism 19 for oscillation is operated in association with the reciprocation of the reciprocator 1, and the reciprocator is oscillated to the desired angle when a lifting signal is inputted from the controller 18 while the changeover switches 27, 28, 29, and 30 are switched in the desired direction. Consequently, the reciprocator can be easily oscillated even without using a coating robot, etc.
