PURPOSE:To obtain the titled medium having improved recording and optical characteristics by jointing two sheets of substrates and a spacer with an adhesives curable by irradiating an active ray and by sealing between the substrates and the spacer with a specific sealing material. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the substrates 1a, 1b provided with the recording layers 2a, 2b thereon inserts a ring like inner spacer 5 and a ring like outer spacer 6 between said substrates and is jointed each other with the aid of the adhesives 3a-3b curable by irradiating the active ray such as acrylic acid and esters thereof. Spaces between the substrates 1a, 1b and the spaces 5, 6 are sealed with the sealing materials 4a-4d composed of an epoxy resin and/or a silicone resin. By making up the titled medium as mentioned above, the information recording medium of the air-sandwich type having no decrease of the optical and recording properties under a high temp. and humidity is obtd. |
