PURPOSE:To make the amount of ink supplied to an ink sheet always constant, by holding an ink supply container for supplying ink to an ink sheet to the same height as the ink tank for replenishing ink to said ink supply container. CONSTITUTION:In a recording apparatus for immersing an ink sheet 12 having a large number of minute pores for filling ink in the ink received in an ink supply container before feeding the same to a recording head 15, the ink supply container 19 is connected to an ink replenishing tank 20 and the position of the tank 20 is regulated so as to make the ink level in said tank 20 same to that in the ink supply container 19. |
