PURPOSE:To remove harmonic waves of high order while remaining in a circuit configuration as it is by pulse-width-modulating a plurality of inverters by control angles corresponding to the number of multiple phases. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of inverters 111, 112 for obtaining 3-phase outputs are provided, operated in phase differences in response to multiple phases, connected in series by a wiring circuit 13 through transformers 121, 122 having the prescribed voltage ratio to produce 3-phase outputs eM. In this case, the inverters 111, 112 are pulse-width-modulated, and the control angle is set in response to the number of the multiple phases.
