PURPOSE:To dispense with a storing space in the type pressing direction of a printing head by attaching an ink ribbon cassette through two special twisting members so that the cassette may be positioned in a direction almost directly crossing a direction where a type is pressed to a paper. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon cassette 3 is attached to an attachment member 5 in a direction almost directly crossing a direction F4 where the type of a printing head 2 is pressed to paper 8. Ink ribbon 3a is twisted almost 90 deg. toward a counter clockwise direction by a twisting member 6, passing between the printing head 2 and paper 8. Then the ribbon 3a is twisted almost 90 deg. in a clockwise direction by a twisting member 7 and stored into an ink ribbon cassette 3. |
