PURPOSE:To obtain a high output property of the titled medium in all frequency ranges of high, middle and low ranges and to depress the output drop of the titled medium at a high input level, thereby obtaining the good output and input characteristics by providing on a base, a magnetic layer having three layers structure which has a specific range in a coercive force ratio of each said layers. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic layer having the three layered structure is provided on the base of the magnetic tape and the magnetic disc etc., Said three layered structure has the magnetic layers in which the coercive force in the upper most layer is 560-760 oersteds and said force in the middle layer is 1.1-2.0 times of that of the upper most layer and said force in the upper most layer is 1.1-1.6 times of that of the lowermost layer respectively. Namely, the coercive force of the magnetic layers has the following order the middle layer > the upper layer > the lower layer, and has a specific range. By providing said magnetic layer on the base, the titled medium having the stable and the high output over all the frequency ranges and having the high output in the high input level of the high frequency range is obtd.
